Firefox OS comes to Africa with Orange's $40 package deal

Mozilla's major new ally will sell its Klif phone and six months' network service in 13 countries in Africa and the Middle East. Orange likes Firefox OS's inexpensive hardware requirements and expects to sell millions.

Anyone with even a passing familiarity with development knows that bugs are par for the course, and most people aren't bothered by small, day-to-day bugs that are fixed within a reasonable timeframe. Obviously, like everyone else, Apple's software has its share of those.

Apple Releases OS X Yosemite GM Candidate to Developers


Apple released the OS X Yosemite GM candidate on Tuesday.
GM, or golden master, refers to the final copy of a piece of software that is ready for a public release. The GM candidate build will likely be one of the last releases before Yosemite is officially unveiled to the public.
