A group of
scientists from the Eindhoven University of Technology and the University of
Central Florida had published scientific articles with the
results of the experiment on record speed data transmission over fiber optic
cable. Using a new type of optical fiber, they managed to register a speed of
255 terabits per second, which is a record today.
