PandaDoc makes it easier for developers to integrate PDFs into web apps

Sign Google Docs

PandaDoc, the company that makes it easy to sign and annotate documents online, has todayreleased a new API and a Javascript SDK to make it easier to deal with PDF documents on the Web.

Building custom PDF handling code is expensive and complicated, so PandaDoc tries to make it straightforward to embed deep PDF functionality in any web application.
The new API makes it easy to integrate PandaDoc’s tools right into existing applications. Developers can create an overlay that allows users to upload a PDF, then annotate it directly adding text or a signature with little hassle thanks to PandaDoc’s tools.

PandaDoc has customers, like TaskRabbit, already using the new tools to allow their “rabbits” (people who perform tasks) to fill in forms directly on their service without the need for a desktop app.
Developers can start integrating PandaDoc into their Web apps today using its RESTful API.
