25 most insecure passwords

Security researchers from SplashData ranked the 25 most common passwords.

Every day, ensuring information protection from intruders is a growing problem for users, especially when you consider that today the services of a hacker can be purchased in the public domain.
Every year, security researchers from SplashData's rating of the 25 most common passwords on the Internet. It is understood that the password is more predictable and, accordingly, distributed, so it is weaker.
So, in 2013, the combination of «password» finally lost its first place ranking, replaced by "123456". In 2014, it turned out that both passwords are retained its leading position.
It is also interesting that in the past year significantly increased the number of fans of "12345" - from the 17th position, this combination has risen to third place, displacing the position below "12345678" and «qwerty».
In SplashData also stress that in the top of the last year, there were several entirely new combinations. We are talking about «baseball», «football», «superman», «batman» and «michael».
