Expert presented a small device to hacker attacks by regular mail

The development, which is perfectly placed in the default e-mail box, allows to get into the wireless network.
Information security expert Larry Pesce created a device with the size of a cutting board, which can be used as a low-cost tool for the implementation of the attacks on the wireless networks. Destination development are attacks known as «military supplies» («war shipping»), in which malicious hardware delivered by regular mail to the victim.

Created on the basis Raspberry Pi device that is perfectly positioned in the standard postal box, is able to penetrate into wireless networks and report intruders of their whereabouts.
«We wanted to know when the product arrives at the right or close to it  place where you have access to a particular network, in order to make sure that we attack the right people,»- said Pesce at a security conference Derbycon, which was held in the end of the last month.
The device can be used for attacks on certain organizations, transport companies and any other victims encountered along the way at the time of delivery. However,  this mail truck must go slowly enough and stay.

For users who want to create their own device, Pesce published on GitHub appropriate software that is constantly being improved and updated.
